I began working with mosaics as a hobby while attending college. I took a brief hiatus to start a family, but recently began working on mosaics again in my free time. Being self-taught, I have tried to expand my knowledge using anything I can. From Youtube videos and online classes to books and a lot of trial and error. I am continuously researching to learn as much as I can.
Creating mosaics has given me a chance to work with many different mediums on a single project. From the rough sketch design of each piece, to the finished glass and grout, I am able to create different textures and styles.
